Imagine walking away from your birth feeling like you had a positive experience. Imagine feeling as though your values and wishes were taken into consideration and that you got to play an active role in the decision making process.
Pay attention because this is one of the most pivotal moments of your life.
→ Do you want to go into this transformation just going with the flow?
→ Or would you like to play an active role in the care that you receive?
Many people believe they will receive complete labor support from their labor and delivery nurse and that the postpartum nurses will help them breastfeed. However, many don’t understand that not all labor and delivery nurses receive in depth labor support and breast-feeding training. Many times nurses are required to seek this training on their own outside of work. In addition, staffing can play a huge part in how much support your nurse can provide.
So, I want to give you this information before birth!
I have you covered with the Bridging Birth Membership. We will talk about all those questions! I will give you evidence-based information on the topics your provider covered during appointments in terms you can understand. We will be covering different topics for each trimester for labor, birth and breast-feeding. This will be done in both the on-demand courses and in our live calls. In addition, we will have conversations within our community so you can hear about the experiences others are having around the same topic.
Sharing experiences, solutions and wins with one another will be one of the most valuable assets in our membership.
In our community or in one to one sessions you can share your birth stories and ask questions about things you didn’t quite understand that happened during your birth. This can aid in processing your birth.
Ready to empower your birth story? After spending 20 years providing care for expectant families I realize just how many gaps are actually present in our maternal care system and what an impact that is making on maternal and newborn outcomes.
The Bridging Birth Membership was created to help fill those gaps.

Words can't express how much it meant to us."

“I had so many questions every single time I left my prenatal appointments. It was so great to have Dawn as a Nurse Coach to help me understand what was going on.
One of the best parts was the resources she shared! Everyone should be able to have a nurse coach throughout their pregnancy and postpartum!”
S.F.

"Dawn is incredible!
We did a condensed childbirth class with her and it armed me with knowledge and the confidence to advocate for myself.
I had a very long induction for medical reasons and Dawn helped me become confident in understanding risks, benefits and alternatives for each medication and procedure. I eventually felt so comfortable declining things that were just to “speed things up” and when the epidural wasn’t working I was able to keep speaking up for myself until it was resolved.
I don’t think I would have had that confidence without Dawn's class.
